About
Dr. Rouyanian
Hi, I'm Dr. Armeen Rouyanian, D.O. — founder of Vista Mental Health and a psychiatrist who genuinely loves what he does.
I grew up in Kansas City and studied Chemistry at the University of Kansas before earning my medical degree from Kansas City University. I came to Oklahoma for my residency training, and have been building Vista Mental Health here ever since. One of the things I love most about telemedicine is that great psychiatric care doesn't have to be tied to a single location — it travels with you, wherever life takes you.
I chose psychiatry because I've always been fascinated by human behavior — what drives us, what holds us back, and how the mind and body are more connected than most people realize. My background in chemistry means I'm especially passionate about pharmacology and medication management — understanding not just what a medication does, but why it works, and how to tailor it to the individual sitting in front of me.
What I find most meaningful about this work is the privilege of being trusted with someone's most vulnerable moments. Mental health struggles can feel isolating and overwhelming, and I never take lightly what it takes for someone to reach out for help. My goal is to make that step feel safe, worthwhile, and the beginning of something better.
I founded Vista Mental Health specifically to remove the obstacles that keep people from getting care — long waits, inconvenient hours, the anxiety of sitting in a waiting room. Through telemedicine, I can offer evening and weekend appointments to patients across Oklahoma, from the privacy and comfort of your own home.
When I'm not seeing patients, you'll find me traveling, hitting the ski slopes, exploring new restaurants, or spending time with family and friends.
I'm currently accepting new patients in Oklahoma and would love the opportunity to be part of your care team.
